So Hip

Baxter is turning into his Mommy with drink in one hand, and a phone in the other. Such a hip little boy!

Stryder

This is my Mom's beautiful buckskin horse named Stryder. I cannot wait to ride him this Summer, and Baxter is going to have his first horse ride on him in a couple weeks as well. He is a sweet and gentle giant!

My nieces sayings...

Gracie Jo

While landing on her bottom says: "Oh my Gracie junk!" (This is her father's fault)

Sees the sun shining outside and says, "It's going to be a beautiful Gracie day!"

She hears Bodie crying and yells, "You're ruining my world!"

Eden

She calls the garbage "Puke in a bucket."

Yep, I adore my little nieces.

Sunday Snowfall

Coffee Bean

Bax discovered a coffee bean on the floor a couple nights ago that must have fallen when I made my morning coffee. I heard him chewing away on something and went to see what it was and that's when I discovered the coffee bean. The funny part is that I believe he would have happily eaten it had I not taken it away from him. I guess he takes after his Mommy's love for coffee!!

Almost there!

Baxter has started taking his first steps!! He has taken four steps at a time and then gets nervous and plops back down to a crawling position. It is very exciting and we're sure he'll be a pro at walking by his 1st Birthday.

11 Months

Baxter turned 11 months today - hooray! He is becoming more and more chatty like his Mom, and tries very hard to carry on "conversations".

Besides being a little chatterbox, Baxter is getting more comfortable holding a spoon, but still prefers feeding himself with his fingers. He has also tried to take some steps and I'm sure we'll be celebrating him walking before we know it!

We are really looking forward to his first birthday and cannot wait to witness the new joys a 1+ year old can bring.
